The Clinical Effect of Proquazone (Biarison) in Otolaryngolagic Field



Abstract
The clinical effect of Proquazone (Biarison) is evaluated in the 59 cases of upper respiratory infection and operated patients.
The results are as follows
1. The drug took moderate to excellent effect on sore throat or dysphagia in 72.4 percentage of the cases.
2. The drug took moderate to excellent effecton hyperemia or swelling in 69.8 percentage of the cases.
3. As awhole, the drug took excellent effect in 18.5 percentage of the cases. Summing up, the drug took significant effect in 70.4 percentage of the cases.
4. The drug only caused slight gastrointestinal trouble, which improved after discontnuing it.
